The first open qualifiers for the Esports World Cup 2025 in Dota 2 concluded on June 4. In South America, Veritas Friends and Team Sin Compromisio secured their spots in the closed stage. Both teams confirmed their strength both in the group stage and the playoffs. Their gameplay was marked by an aggressive style and clear coordination, allowing them to emerge victorious in the intense battle for the top 2.

North America

The North American qualifiers brought unexpected results: Yoru Ryodan and 9z Team advanced to the next stage. Despite strong competition, these two teams demonstrated the resilience, teamwork, and tactical flexibility needed to progress to the closed qualification.

Middle East and North Africa (MESWA)

In the MESWA region, the battle was won by the experienced Team Secret and the lesser-known but vibrant sirfr00. Both lineups effectively combined individual skill with team interaction, allowing them to navigate through the challenging selection bracket.

Southeast Asia

From Southeast Asia, only one team secured a slot — KUKUYS. The team confidently passed the qualifying tournament, leaving no chance for their opponents. KUKUYS have made their mark at the regional level before and once again confirmed their class.
