On January 17, the second day of closed qualifiers concluded at the ESL One Raleigh 2025 in the South America region. During intense competition, the first grand finalist was determined, and several teams ended their participation in the tournament.

Situation in the Upper Bracket

The first match in the upper bracket was between M80 and Infamous Gaming. The match ended with M80 winning 2:1. It was a very tense match, and Infamous had every chance to win if they hadn't lost key fights. Following them, HEROIC played against FUSION. Unfortunately, FUSION couldn't compete with the regional giant and lost the match 0:2.

After this, we awaited the upper bracket final between M80 and HEROIC. There were no surprises in this match, as HEROIC won 2:0 and advanced to the grand final of the qualifier.

Situation in the Lower Bracket

Looking for Org defeated Flame Team 2:0. After them, The Sleepers faced Perro Negro, with the match ending in a 2:0 victory for Perro Negro.

In the next round of the lower bracket, FUSION faced Looking for Org. The match ended unexpectedly, with FUSION losing 0:2, despite having shown good results in other qualifiers.

After them, Infamous Gaming played against Perro Negro. The match ended with Perro Negro winning 2:1. Thus, both teams that fell from the upper bracket exited the qualification.

The last match of the day was between Looking for Org and Perro Negro. It was an interesting and event-filled game that ended with a 2:1 victory for Perro Negro. So today, they will play against M80 for the second place in the grand final and a chance to compete with HEROIC for the spot.
