The first game day of the closed qualifier for ESL One Raleigh 2025 in the Southeast Asia region has concluded. As a result, two teams were determined to compete tomorrow for a place in the grand final of the qualifier, namely BOOM Esports and Talon Esports.

Upper Bracket Results

The day started with a match between BOOM Esports and Team Kukuys. BOOM easily defeated their opponent with a score of 2:0 and moved further up the tournament bracket.

Simultaneously, The MongolZ played against Execration. The match ended with The MongolZ winning 2:0.

The second pair of matches began with Aurora Gaming against Groomify. Aurora had no trouble with their opponent, finishing the match with a 2:0 victory. Interestingly, the first map of the meeting ended in just 27 minutes.

At the same time, Talon Esports faced off against InterActive Philippines. The match concluded with a 2:0 victory for Talon.

The upper bracket semifinals opened with BOOM Esports against The MongolZ, which ended with a 2:0 result in a total domination by BOOM. The whole series took them less than an hour.

The last match of the first day was between Aurora Gaming and Talon Esports. The match ended with a score of 0:2. Tomorrow, Talon will face BOOM for a spot in the grand final.

Lower Bracket Situation

In the lower bracket of the qualifier, Team Kukuys and Execration, as well as Groomify and InterActive Philippines, will compete against each other for elimination from the competition. In the next round, the winners of these pairs will play against Aurora and The MongolZ, respectively. Tomorrow, we will say goodbye to four teams.
