On January 17, the second day of the closed qualifier for ESL One Raleigh 2025 in the Southeast Asia region concluded. In a tense struggle, the finalist of the qualification was determined, as well as the teams that finished their participation in the tournament.

Lower Bracket Battles

The second day of the closed qualifiers was marked by intense battles in the lower bracket. Team Kukuys confidently passed through two rounds, first defeating Execration with a score of 2:1. The team lost the first map but rallied and won the next two, finishing the series in their favor. In the next round, Team Kukuys left no chance for Aurora Gaming, winning with a score of 2:0. In parallel matches of the lower bracket, InterActive Philippines knocked Groomify out of the competition, finishing the meeting with a score of 2:1. However, in the next round, they themselves were eliminated from the qualification, losing to The Mongolz with a score of 0:2.

In the lower bracket semifinals, Team Kukuys faced The Mongolz. After losing the first map, the team led by Denz "Abat" Daryl Anedeza managed to prevail on the second and third maps, finishing the match with a 2:1 victory.

Upper Bracket Final

BOOM Esports and Talon Esports met in the upper bracket final. In the upper bracket final, Talon Esports defeated BOOM Esports with a score of 2:0. The first map ended with a result of 35:11, and on the second, Talon secured their success, winning 33:23. The victory led the team to the grand final of the qualification, where they will compete for a spot in the LAN tournament.
