The playtest will focus on server performance and stability under increased player counts. A limited selection of maps and modes will be available, though exact details remain under wraps due to strict NDAs.

What Is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs is the internal name for DICE’s collaborative testing initiative, where players are invited behind the curtain to provide early feedback on the next-gen shooter. Since March, a small number of testers have been involved, helping DICE fine-tune gameplay, performance, and balance. This upcoming May playtest marks the largest hands-on session to date, expanding the participant pool significantly across multiple regions.
