Where should cadiaN go? Three options

Casper "cadiaN" Møller just took a break after the not-so-successful stint at Liquid. He currently does not have a team and has already hinted that he will have to miss the upcoming Major due to the current rules.

cadiaN is experienced, but his leading style is demanding. All the other players have to fully trust and respect him. Also, the organization has to understand this is a long-term project, and the real results will come in months, not weeks. Furthermore, he cannot repeat the same mistakes as it was in Liquid: all players have to fully rely on his calling. Twistzz and zews have already hinted that cadiaN's role in Liquid's failure was significant. The Dane wasn't able to adapt to new conditions.

Recently working as a broadcast analyst at BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2024, cadiaN will undoubtedly bounce back. We have identified a few options for him:

Option 1: TSM

Current state of the team and their struggles: TSM is far from its potential peak, and there are significant doubts about whether they will reach the RMR.

valde's inexperience as IGL: In this team, valde is currently the IGL, but his experience in this role is limited. cadiaN's extensive experience as an IGL could be invaluable here, providing the strategic depth and leadership the team desperately needs.

The challenge with acoR: One issue is acoR being the AWPer. This situation could force TSM to either replace acoR with cadiaN or have cadiaN give up the AWP and become a rifler. Both scenarios have their challenges but could potentially lead to a more cohesive and effective team dynamic.

Option 2: Gaimin Gladiators

Overview of the team's recent signings: Gaimin Gladiators recently made significant moves by signing roeJ and nicoodoz, signaling a potential shift in the team's ambitions and structure.

Nodios's new role as IGL: Currently, the team lacks a proper IGL as Nodios has just taken on this role. cadiaN's experience and leadership could be precisely what the team needs to navigate this transition successfully.

Possibility of nicoodoz switching to a rifler: nicoodoz could give up the AWP and become a rifler. In CS2, he has shown improved performance with a rifle, which he demonstrated numerous times at HEROIC. This flexibility could allow cadiaN to take on the AWP role and lead the team strategically.

Option 3: fnatic

fnatic's ambition and recent signing of blameF: The organization has already shown its willingness to return to the big scene by signing blameF as a star rifler.

Current team's strengths and RMR direct invite: The team appears balanced and promising, received a direct invite to the RMR. This established foundation could be an attractive option for cadiaN.

Weakness in the AWPer role (afro): The only weak spot is their AWPer, afro, who is currently underperforming. cadiaN could step in as the AWPer, taking over the IGL role from bodyy, who lacks extensive experience. This team configuration aligns well with cadiaN's skill set and reputation.

Conclusion

In summary, cadiaN has several viable options for his next team. TSM could benefit greatly from his leadership, though adjustments would be necessary with acoR. Gaimin Gladiators offer an exciting opportunity with their recent signings and potential for strategic improvement. fnatic presents a balanced and promising team where cadiaN could significantly impact by addressing their weaknesses.

Each option has its unique challenges and benefits. Ultimately, the best fit for cadiaN will depend on how well he can integrate his demanding leadership style and strategic vision with the chosen team's dynamics.
