Vitality just won IEM Dallas 2025, and it wasn’t even close. They beat MOUZ 3:0 in the grand final and claimed their sixth tournament win in a row this year. Right now, they are the most dominant team in the world — maybe even in the history of Counter-Strike.
A legendary run in 2025
Since Robin "ropz" Kool joined Vitality, the team has gone on an unbelievable run. They’ve won:

Vitality vs Liquid 2019 – A fair comparison?
Some fans are comparing this Vitality run to Liquid in 2019. Back then, Liquid was on fire during the summer. They won multiple big events like:
- DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019
- ESL Pro League Season 9
- IEM Chicago
- IEM Cologne
- BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles
- They also completed the Intel Grand Slam Season 2
But when it came time for the big one — the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 — they fell short. Liquid even had problems in the group stage: they lost to NRG and AVANGAR, and could reach the playoffs with 3:2 score in the Swiss. In the playoffs they didn't make the semifinals and lost in the quarters to Astralis. Despite being the best team in the world, they never won a Major.
Vitality is different. They’ve already won a Major. Most of their players — like Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, and ropz — have lifted a Major trophy before. ZywOo even won MVP of that Major. Only Shahar "flameZ" Shushan and William "mezii" Merriman haven’t done it yet, but they’ve proven themselves as strong support players. Up next is the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, the last event of the season, starting June 3. This will be the biggest test. All the best teams will be there, and the pressure will be higher than ever.
Vitality goes into this Major as the clear favorite — maybe the most obvious favorite in Major history. Even when compared to dominant eras like Astralis 2018 or Liquid 2019, this Vitality lineup stands out.
