The publisher Take-Two Interactive confirmed in its annual financial report that Rockstar Games plans to release GTA 6 in the fall of 2025.
The publisher assures that it does not plan to delay the release of one of the most anticipated games. These statements confirm that recent rumors circulating online about the postponement of GTA 6 to 2026 were false.

Moreover, Rockstar Games plans to gradually provide more information about its next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. Since the release of the GTA 6 trailer, there has been little news about the new game, which led fans to believe that the game's release would be delayed.
