Among all the game mechanics in Sailor Piece, the skill tree system plays a key role in enhancing a character's power and overall effectiveness. It allows you to improve various hero attributes by spending skill points. However, acquiring these points in Sailor Piece can take quite some time due to certain features.
In this guide, you'll find everything you need: how to unlock the skill tree and earn points, which stats can be upgraded, and other details about this mechanic.
How to Unlock the Skill Tree in Sailor Piece
To unlock the Sailor Piece skill tree, you need to reach level 7000 and have 1000 gems. After that, head to the Slime Island location. There, find the NPC Skill Tree (easily recognizable by the black captain's outfit and the sign above his head).

Interact with this character to give him 1000 gems. After that, you will gain access to the Sailor Piece skill tree.

Sailor Piece Skill Tree
The skill tree is built around five main character attributes:
- Luck
- Critical Chance
- Critical Damage
- HP
- Damage
Each of these attributes can be upgraded to five levels. To do this, you must spend skill points sequentially, unlocking each subsequent level.

Damage %
Each level of upgraded damage skill adds +5% to the character's damage, which at the maximum level amounts to +25%.
As the name of the skill branch suggests, this attribute increases the total amount of damage you deal to enemies. It's one of the most important character parameters, so it's worth investing points in it as early as possible.
LEVEL | SKILL POINTS REQUIRED |
Level 1 | 3 skill points |
Level 2 | 6 skill points |
Level 3 | 10 skill points |
Level 4 | 15 skill points |
Level 5 | 25 skill points |
HP %
For each level of upgraded health branch, the character receives +7.5% HP, resulting in a total increase of +37.5% HP.
This stat may not seem the most important initially, but it significantly enhances survivability, which becomes essential for battles with tough bosses and enemies.
LEVEL | SKILL POINTS REQUIRED |
Level 1 | 2 skill points |
Level 2 | 5 skill points |
Level 3 | 8 skill points |
Level 4 | 13 skill points |
Level 5 | 20 skill points |
Critical Chance
At each level, the hero gains +1% to the chance of landing a critical hit, totaling +5% critical chance over 5 levels.
Improving critical chance in Sailor Piece increases the likelihood of landing critical hits regardless of attack type: whether melee, devil fruit abilities, or swords.
LEVEL | SKILL POINTS REQUIRED |
Level 1 | 3 skill points |
Level 2 | 6 skill points |
Level 3 | 10 skill points |
Level 4 | 15 skill points |
Level 5 | 25 skill points |

Critical Damage
The critical damage stat increases by +3% for each upgraded level, with a total increase of +15% critical damage.
After boosting the critical hit chance, you can also enhance their effectiveness by increasing the damage they inflict.
LEVEL | SKILL POINTS REQUIRED |
Level 1 | 3 skill points |
Level 2 | 6 skill points |
Level 3 | 10 skill points |
Level 4 | 15 skill points |
Level 5 | 25 skill points |
Luck
Upgrading luck increases its stat by +5% per level, i.e., +25% at the maximum level.
This attribute boosts the chance of obtaining rare items in Sailor Piece. A higher luck level significantly simplifies farming and helps unlock new abilities faster.
LEVEL | SKILL POINTS REQUIRED |
Level 1 | 15 skill points |
Level 2 | 25 skill points |
Level 3 | 50 skill points |
Level 4 | 75 skill points |
Level 5 | 100 skill points |
How to Earn Skill Points in Sailor Piece
As you might guess, you'll need quite a few skill points to upgrade all character attributes and make them stronger, more resilient, and luckier. However, the logical question arises: how exactly do you earn these skill points?
In fact, it's quite simple: for every 250 enemies defeated, you'll receive 1 skill point. To fully upgrade all branches of the skill tree, you'll need 324 skill points, meaning you'll have to defeat 81,000 enemies.

At first glance, this might seem like an overwhelming number — and it is. However, remember that there are plenty of places in the game where you can easily eliminate large groups of enemies, especially with a level of 7000+ and a good build.
It's best to find a location with a high density of enemy NPCs and use powerful AoE abilities that allow you to eliminate them in one go. You can also try automating farming using Sailor Piece scripts.
It's important not to engage in fights with stronger enemies or those with large health reserves, particularly bosses, as you'll spend a lot of time on them.
