Legacy have done it – they’ve won their first-ever major title at the CS Asia Championships 2025, taking down 3DMAX in a thrilling 3:2 grand final. It was a long and hard journey, but the Brazilian roster finally got their reward. The team earned $400,000, while the runner-up 3DMAX walked away with $170,000.
This event will be remembered not only for Legacy’s victory but also for the rise of Bruno “latto” Rebelatto, who was named MVP of the tournament. His consistency, impact, and performance in key moments were the main reasons Legacy lifted the trophy.
latto – A Well-Deserved MVP
Latto was the heart of Legacy’s run in Shanghai. His numbers tell the story of a player who showed up when it mattered most:
- 0.76 kills per round
- 82.9 ADR (average damage per round)
- Overall Rating: 6.6
He was a rock for his team from the start:
- 8.8 rating vs Virtus.pro
- 6.8 vs 3DMAX
- 5.9 vs Liquid
- 7.0 vs FUT (quarterfinal)
- 6.3 vs HEROIC (semifinal)
- 6.6 vs 3DMAX (final)

The final was intense. Legacy were down 1-2 but came back strong. Latto’s 8.9 rating and 120 ADR on the last map were unreal. He was everywhere – entry kills, clutch rounds, and full control of the tempo. That map sealed both the trophy and his MVP title.
This win means more than just a trophy. For years, Legacy were a team full of promise but without real results. Now, they’ve proven that their grind finally paid off.
EVPs – The Other Standout Players
Even though latto took the spotlight, several players also stood out and earned EVP (Exceptionally Valuable Player) awards for their strong performances.

EliGE – Rating 6.4
The American veteran is back home in Liquid, and he’s already proving his worth. This was his first full event after returning, and he looked sharp. Liquid finished 3rd, which might feel low for such a legendary organization, but it’s a promising sign. They lost only one series – to Legacy, the champions. Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski’s impact and leadership were key for their deep run.

NAF – Rating 6.3
Keith “NAF” Markovic continues to show he’s still got it. After some struggles in the last season, he’s returning to form. With EliGE back beside him, the chemistry looks good again. His patience and smart positioning made a big difference in many rounds, especially during group play.

hades – Rating 6.3
The Polish sniper stepped in as a stand-in for HEROIC, and what a job he did. His first matches were phenomenal – sharp aim, fast reactions, and strong game sense. The later stages were tougher, but considering HEROIC’s recent form, finishing 4th is a big success. Aleksander “hades” Miśkiewicz proved again that he deserves a spot in the Tier-1 scene.

n1ssim – Rating 6.1
Another Legacy player who deserves praise. Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira was the perfect partner for latto. His final performance was huge – rating 6.2, just behind his teammate. He played smart, supported well, and had several clutch moments. He’s still young, but already looks ready for the big stage.

What’s Next?
Next up is the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025, taking place October 24 to November 1. With a $1,250,000 prize pool, it’s one of the biggest events before the Major. Legacy are now entering that tournament with huge confidence – and with everyone watching them.
If they can keep this level, Legacy might go from Tier-2 underdogs to real contenders. Latto’s MVP run in Asia could just be the start of something much bigger.
