Creating in tactics in Football Manager can be a daunting task. There’s a tonne of preset options, mentalities, positions, roles, and instructions that can all be confusing for even experienced Football Manager players.
Fortunately, members of the community often create tactics that do the hard work for players, especially those who have no clue what they’re looking at when they see the tactics screen.
One such tactic is the Insane Thunder 4-2-3-1 Tactic, a tactic designed to score a tonne of goals while soaking up defensive pressure.
Insane Thunder 4-2-3-1 Tactic
In the description provided on the Tactic page on Passion4FootballManager, the creator franklyfm84 said this:
“This is a tactic that has it all, it is built on a solid back four that will protect your goal at all costs, you have a midfield pairing that will fight for your team, turning over the ball in the middle third and starting sweeping attacks.
It has two wide players that will constantly drive at defences and feed your striker with precise passes whilst being a goal threat on their own. It has a creative dynamo in the middle of the midfield to make sure you are creating as many chances as possible and at the top of the pitch you will have an advanced forward to smash the ball home time and time again!
With two Inside-Forwards and an Advanced Forward finishing of goalscoring chances as the MSN trio, this tactic takes you one step closer to experience goals galore on FM24. With over 3 goals per game and 21 clean sheets, it has all the foundation to take your club one step closer to success!”
You can also find a video he attached, showing how he tested the tactic with both Liverpool and RB Leipzig.
