Epic Games has reintroduced one of Fortnite's older skins—the Yellowjacket Pack. For a limited time, players can purchase not only the skin itself but also several other cosmetic items, along with a pleasant bonus of 600 V-Bucks! This guide will help you understand how to get the Yellowjacket Pack in Fortnite: Chapter 6 Season 3.
To get the Yellowjacket Starter Pack in Fortnite: Chapter 6, Season 3, you need to navigate to the in-game store's Special Offers & Bundles section, then click the purchase button, pay for the item—and that's it: it will appear in your locker.
You can also purchase it through the Epic Games Store if you're buying outside the game client. The cost of the Yellowjacket Starter Pack is $4.49, slightly higher than the initial price of $3.99 during its first release in 2020.
This reintroduced Pack grants access to several cosmetic items and in-game currency that activate immediately upon purchase. You will receive both standard and black variants of each item, allowing for even more character customization. Additionally, the Pack includes a LEGO-style version of the skin that can be used in LEGO Fortnite mode.
The Yellowjacket Pack includes:
The Yellowjacket Starter Pack will be available in the item shop until August 12, 2025, at 8:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). After that, it will likely be removed again for an indefinite period. If you missed it five years ago—this might be your last chance.
The initial release of the Yellowjacket Starter Pack was on June 23, 2020, and it stayed in the store until August 31, 2020, crossing the end of Chapter 2, Season 3 of Fortnite. At that time, it cost $3.99. Now, the Pack is back with a new price of $4.49, reflecting the overall increase in Fortnite's cosmetic prices.
For newcomers or those who missed the bundle in 2020, it's a great offer. You get several cosmetic items and 600 V-Bucks for a small amount. However, some long-time players who already own this Pack are disappointed: the Pack returned without new OG variants or bonuses for early adopters, so its exclusivity—and with it, the sense of uniqueness—is partly lost.
Epic Games has not provided any additional rewards for those who purchased this bundle earlier, which has elicited mixed feedback. Some players are happy about the skin's return, while others feel it devalues rare items.
