Team Spirit has claimed another big title in 2025. After a strong 3-0 win against MOUZ in the grand final, they are now the champions of IEM Cologne 2025. This is their third trophy this year, after victories at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 and PGL Astana 2025. The win in Cologne is also their first with new player Ivan "zweih" Gogin, who joined the team earlier this season.
Spirit took home $460,000 for the win, while runners-up MOUZ earned $216,000. The next major tournament is BLAST Bounty Fall 2025, which will take place from August 14 to 17 with a prize pool of $500,000.
donk Named MVP of the Event
The MVP of IEM Cologne 2025 is none other than Danil "donk" Kryshkovets. He has been one of the best players in the world this year, and he proved it again in Cologne.
donk finished the tournament with a 7.6 rating — the highest at the event. He also had 0.97 kills per round and 105.2 ADR (average damage per round). His stats show how consistent and impactful he was in every match.
The final wasn’t his best game, but his teammates carried that series. Still, donk’s overall performance was too strong to ignore.

Here’s a look at his ratings during the event:
- vs HEROIC: 7.0
- vs Aurora: 9.7
- vs MOUZ: 7.1
- vs NAVI (Semifinal): 7.4
- vs MOUZ (Final): 7.5
Even though the final wasn’t his best match, he stayed solid and helped Spirit control the series from start to finish. His numbers and overall influence made him the clear MVP.
Spirit’s Third Trophy This Year
Spirit is quickly becoming the best team of 2025. This win in Cologne proves that they are not just a one-event team. After adding zweih to the roster, they seem even more balanced and dangerous.
With players like donk and Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov performing at a high level, and with proper structure and preparation, Spirit is hard to stop. Their dominance in the final was clear — MOUZ had no answers.

EVPs (Exceptionally Valuable Players)
Alongside donk’s MVP award, a few other players also stood out at IEM Cologne and were named EVPs (Exceptionally Valuable Players). These are players who performed at a very high level but just fell short of the MVP award.
Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov – Spirit – Rating: 6.7
sh1ro was strong throughout the tournament. As Spirit’s AWPer, he held his ground in most matches, helping the team control the pace. However, his performance dropped in the final, where he had a 5.7 rating — the lowest in his team. Still, he was a key reason Spirit made it to the grand final.

Robin "ropz" Kool – Vitality – Rating: 6.6
Vitality didn’t win this time, but ropz continues to show why he is one of the most reliable players in CS2. His performance stayed strong across all matches, even as his team failed to reach the final. This is the first event since February where Vitality didn’t win, but ropz still delivered solid results.

Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi – NAVI – Rating: 6.5
NAVI had a much better showing than in previous tournaments. b1t was quiet during the group stage, where teammate Mihai "iM" Ivan played better. But in the playoffs, b1t bounced back and stepped up with important kills and strong performances. Even though NAVI lost to Spirit, b1t showed he can still be a top player when it matters most.

Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás – MOUZ – Rating: 6.5
Torzsi was the best player for MOUZ during most of the event. He had many good games and helped his team reach the final. Unfortunately, his level dropped heavily in the final match. Still, his earlier performances were strong enough to earn him EVP status.

What’s Next?
The CS2 calendar continues with BLAST Bounty Fall 2025, running from August 14 to 17. With Spirit in top form, they’ll be the favorites going into that tournament. But other teams like Vitality, NAVI, and MOUZ will be looking for revenge.
