CS2 Nuke B Site Execute: Secret and Vent Entry Guide

B site on Nuke is the hardest execute in the active map pool. The ramp is a kill corridor. Control Room holds the entire post-plant. Window covers the Double Doors entry from above. A CT setup with all three positions covered can shut down five players without breaking a sweat. This guide covers how to take B site on Nuke CS2 using Ramp, Secret, and Vent entries — from utility setup through post-plant positioning.

Key Zones for B Site

Ramp / Ramp Room is the main T-side route down to B. Narrow, easily held, and the first thing CT smokes if they want to delay. Lockers connects Ramp to B site and acts as the intermediate clearing zone before the site opens up. Secret is the external route that bypasses Ramp entirely, leading down to Back Vents. Back Vents / Tunnels run from Secret to B site through either Decon or Double Doors. Double Doors is the Tunnels entry onto B site.

Decon (Single Door) is the alternative Tunnels entry, slightly tighter. Vents is the vertical shaft from A site down to B — the fastest route between levels and the one CTs use for surprise retakes. Dark is the deep corner of B site and the classic passive CT hold. Control Room is the small monitor room adjacent to B site, the most dangerous post-plant position in the game. Window sits above Double Doors and gives CT a shooting angle over anyone pushing through Tunnels.

Why B Execute Is Hard on Nuke

Three problems hit you simultaneously. Ramp is a single-file corridor where one CT with a Molotov can stop an entire push. Control Room holds the post-plant and forces the bomb carrier to deal with an angle that's almost impossible to duel while planting. Window covers Double Doors and punishes the Tunnels approach before it even reaches the site.

The silver lining: T side on Nuke overwhelmingly attacks A, which means a committed B execute carries the element of surprise. CTs expect A pressure. A team that actually executes B correctly will often find defenders out of position.

The Two Entry Routes: Ramp vs Secret

Ramp is the direct, fast route. A CT sitting in Ramp Room with a Molotov can hold the entire line without needing aim. The route works on early rounds before CT has settled into position, or with an instant rush that denies them setup time. Any planned execute through Ramp requires a smoke on the Ramp Room — going in without it is not a strategy, it's a donation.

The CS2 Nuke Secret entry guide starts Outside. Secret bypasses the Ramp entirely and gives you a second path to B through Back Vents and Tunnels. A CT holding Ramp Room has no angle on this approach. The catch is Outside control — you need to reach Secret without taking damage, which means accounting for any CT aggression along the way. The Vent drop from A site is a third option when your team already has A-level presence: one or two players drop through Vents while CT attention is pulled upstairs.

Utility Setup

Smoke on Ramp Room is the first priority on any Ramp-based execute. There's no debate here — pushing Ramp without it means dying in a line.

Smoke on Control Room is mandatory for post-plant. A CT who survives in Control has a clean angle on the bomb and a protected position to defuse from.

Smoke on Window closes the angle above Double Doors when running the Tunnels approach. Without it, a CT in Window picks off players before they reach the site.

Molotov on Dark forces the passive CT out of the far corner and creates space for the bomb carrier to push deeper.

Molotov on Ramp / Bottom Ramp covers aggressive CT pushes — if they've moved out of Ramp Room toward your team, this stops the counter-aggression.

Flash through Ramp goes immediately before the entry duelist commits, blinding anyone sitting behind the boxes at the bottom of the ramp.

Execute Variants

Tips

Variant 1 — Ramp Rush (3-1-1)

Three players push through Ramp under the Ramp Room smoke. The entry player clears Lockers then pushes onto B site. One player applies pressure from Outside or Secret, creating the threat of a second entry route without necessarily committing. One lurker works through A Lobby or drops via Vents for a surprise flank. This variant lives or dies on the smoke timing — if Ramp Room isn't covered when the entry duelist moves, the round ends immediately.

Variant 2 — Secret Split (2-2-1)

Two players push Ramp under smoke. Two players go through Outside to Secret, through Tunnels, and enter via Double Doors or Decon. Both groups enter simultaneously — a CT can hold Ramp or Double Doors, not both. One player holds Outside to prevent a CT counter-push that shuts the Secret route before it develops. This is the Nuke B site strategy CS2 that puts the most pressure on the defense, but it requires the two groups to sync their entries precisely.

Variant 3 — Vent Drop

When your team has established A-side presence, this becomes the most unpredictable B option. Create pressure on A site to pull CT attention upward, then drop one or two players through Vents onto B. The CT rotation goes up while your players are going down. It's a classic Nuke timing that experienced teams know to watch for — which means it works best when you've actually threatened A first, not as a pure gamble.

Roles in the 2-2-1 Split

Entry duelist pushes first through Ramp under the flash, clearing Lockers and the Dark corner.

Secondary follows immediately, taking the Control Room angle before the CT there can stabilize.

Controller throws the Ramp Room and Control Room smokes and moves with the main Ramp group.

Tunnels player goes through Secret to Double Doors and enters from the flank at the same moment as the Ramp push.

Outside player / lurker covers the Secret approach from any CT counter-push and provides information on rotation timing.

Post-Plant

The default plant position is behind the central boxes — protected from both Ramp and Double Doors, with the defuser accessible but not exposed. The Toxic angle near the Ramp exit is the classic post-plant hold: a CT retaking through Ramp walks directly into it.

Re-smoke Control Room immediately after the plant. A CT who survived in Control has a clean angle on the bomb if that smoke isn't refreshed. One player holds Dark, one watches Lockers toward Ramp, and one covers Vents — the most commonly ignored retake path. A CT dropping from A through Vents onto an unguarded bomb is one of the most preventable losses on the map.

Common Mistakes

Pushing Ramp without a smoke is the most consistent way to lose three players before the execute starts. Ignoring Control Room in the post-plant phase is the most common reason a planted bomb gets defused — that angle holds the entire site. Leaving Vents unguarded after the plant hands a free retake to any CT with A-side presence. Running both Ramp and Tunnels out of sync gives the CT time to rotate between them and hold each push individually. And treating the Vent Drop as a random play rather than a deliberate option tied to actual A pressure removes the timing advantage that makes it work.

The CS2 Nuke B site execute rewards preparation over aggression. Three smokes, synchronized entry, and a player watching Vents in the post-plant covers everything the defense can throw at you. Run the Nuke Vent execute CS2 correctly and B site stops being the map's hardest take — it becomes its most reliable surprise.

calling control room “mandatory smoke” is cope, if you’re not clearing it you’re just praying the ct misses
