Air strafing is the ability to change your trajectory during free fall. The main feature of CS is that even in the air, you can change your character's movement trajectory. You continue moving, even while airborne. To perform such an air strafe, start running forward (holding the "W" key), then jump and immediately release "W". After that, press "A" (or "S") and simultaneously turn the mouse to the left (or right). If you pressed "A", then turn the mouse to the left; if you pressed "D", turn the mouse to the right.

It's important to remember that in surfing, you should make as few unnecessary movements as possible. Move smoothly and take the shortest path, this is crucial. Unnecessary manoeuvres can increase the level completion time or even slow down your speed, and speed is extremely important in surfing. Therefore, remember: the fewer manoeuvres, the better.
