Anime Squadron Falcon guide

Falcon draws inspiration from Griffith in Berserk as both a charismatic leader and later as the frightening Falcon of Darkness, in turn, inspiring Falcon in Anime Squadron as a Mythic rarity long ranged DPS unit with dodge buffs and Yen damage scaling. Griffith’s nickname of the “White Falcon” then later “Falcon of Darkness” in the lore of Berserk makes him a great inspiration for one of the strongest Mythics in the game.

How to Get Falcon in Anime Squadron

Falcon is a Mythic rarity unit, meaning he is one of the hardest characters to summon in the game.

You can obtain him from:

  • Basic Banner
  • Selection Banner

The Basic Banner is available to every player from the start. However, the Selection Banner only becomes available after reaching Level 10.

Since Falcon is a Mythic unit, his summon chance is extremely low at 0.01%. If luck isn't on your side, keep summoning until he appears in the Basic Banner rotation or pick him as your pity choice on the Selection Banner.

Falcon pity requirement

Anime Squadron features a pity system for Mythic units:

Requirement
Amount
Summons needed
250+-
Gems required
12,500
Guaranteed rarity
Mythic

If Falcon is currently featured in the Selection Banner, saving your Gems for pity is the safest strategy.

Falcon Stats and Role

Falcon has abilities for damage and support that rely on dodge mechanics. He has high damage potential and support utility with stats that improve as the battle carries on. Inspired by Griffith, he has a unique damage approach by scaling off the amount of Yen saved instead of upgrades. For high damage, restoration utility, and a great range, he has the highest support potential of any Mythic unit in Anime Squadron.

He prioritizes longevity and is balanced for end-game and easy mode play. Once he has had his first awakening to become Falcon (Dark) he has bonus effects for dodges and an execution effect that means he can deliver the final blow to boss and high health characters. To round this off he has the highest range support and damage potential and the best mix of economy skills of any unit Mythic in Anime Squadron.

Falcon Awakening

After Awakening, Falcon evolves into Falcon (Dark). The transformation changes his appearance to a darker armor set inspired by Griffith's infamous Eclipse transformation in Berserk, where he becomes the demonic Femto and embraces darkness.

Falcon (Dark) receives:

  • Higher damage output.
  • Improved dodge chance.
  • Critical Hit immunity.
  • New passives centered around Yen generation and execution damage.

This Awakening is essential if you plan to use Falcon in endgame content.

Falcon Awakening Materials

To evolve Falcon into Falcon (Dark), you'll need the following materials:

Material
Amount
Behelit
200x
Apostle Iron
100x
Eclipse Stone
75x
White Behelit
50x
Brand Ash
50x
Moonlit Silver
30x
Black Sun Amber
15x

The most annoying material to farm is White Behelit because it drops from the Raid mode, which only unlocks after reaching Level 15.

All Falcon (Dark) Passives

Falcon (Dark) revolves around two mechanics:

  1. Increasing your Yen income.
  2. Converting saved Yen into bonus damage.

That makes him one of the few units in Anime Squadron that becomes stronger the longer a battle lasts.

Mercenary Paymaster

This passive focus on the economy.

Effects:

  • Increases Yen gained from defeated enemies by 30% while Falcon is on the battlefield.
  • Every enemy defeated by Falcon grants an additional 50 Yen.

This passive allows your team to snowball quickly during long stages.

Untouchable Grace

Falcon's signature defensive ability.

Effects:

  • Falcon and nearby allies have a 20% chance to dodge enemy stuns or debuffs.
  • When isolated from allies, Falcon gains +30% Dodge Chance and Critical Hit Immunity

This passive makes him surprisingly durable for a ranged damage dealer.

Eclipse

Falcon inherits one of Griffith's most terrifying traits from Berserk.

Effects:

  • Instantly executes enemies below 10% HP.
  • If every ally is defeated, Falcon sacrifices them to increase the execution threshold.
  • The threshold can rise to 10% additional HP, allowing Falcon to finish enemies earlier.

Execution abilities are particularly valuable against bosses with huge health pools.

Claim to Ambition

Falcon's main damage is passive.

Effects:

  • Deals bonus damage based on the amount of Yen you possess.
  • Applies a Bleed debuff for 3 seconds.
  • Damage increases by 1% for every 1000 Yen held.

Because of this passive, spending all your Yen immediately is not always the best idea.

Best Build for Falcon

Falcon benefits the most from equipment that boosts:

  • Damage
  • Critical Damage
  • Attack Speed
  • Dodge Chance
  • Range

Prioritize Damage and Dodge first. His passive already rewards you for holding Yen, so survivability and sustained DPS are more valuable than burst stats.

Falcon is among the best Mythic units in Anime Squadron due to his long-range attacks, yen generation, scaling damage, dodge buffs, and execution effects. He is very hard to summon, and his Awakening requirements are costly, adding to his difficulty of obtaining. However, players that devote their resources to him will have a unit that can carry them through tough challenges and boss battles.
