The bomb wasn`t planted in time by MOUZ became the worst highlight of 2023

Professional CS isn't always about mind-blowing aces, clutches, and headshots. We're all human, and sometimes we make mistakes, and esports athletes are no exception. Sometimes their miscalculations lead to amusing consequences. Bo3.gg will remind you of the worst highlights of 2023.

#3. Ninja Defuse by xfl0ud Against Bad News Eagles

A classic example of a bad highlight can be ninja defuses. Many of them happen comically in smoke right under the nose of one or more opponents. xfl0ud didn’t even need smoke – in one of the rounds on Vertigo against BNE, he approached and defused the bomb in the last seconds, with the bomb's location playing into his hands.

#2. Lost Clutch by zevy Against Monte at the Major

We don't know what was going through zevy mind at the Major in the match against Monte, but it seems he outplayed himself. The Brazilian tried several times to fake plant the bomb, but it turned out to be a battle with his own shadow. kRaSnaL, on the other hand, hardly had to exert himself to win this amusing clutch.

#1. Bomb Not Planted in Time Leading to Loss in Match Against FaZe

But the funniest fail of the year was an incident with the bomb in the MOUZ vs. FaZe match. The team made a late entry to plant on Overpass. For some reason, the players couldn't orient themselves in time, or didn't pay attention to the timer, but in the end, instead of taking the match to overtime, they lost 0:2. The outcome of the series was decided by a few milliseconds!

Don't forget to also check out the top five highlights of the past year. This top five includes two 1v5 clutches that have made CS history. You can read about them via the link.
