The development scene in EMEA is souring thanks to the help of the fanbases for the highly popular Los Ratones and Karmine Corp. Those squads have brought hundreds of thousands of eyes to the EMEA Masters, so much so that the viewership record has been broken for the group stage of the event.
According to esports charts, the EMEA Masters Group Stage peaked at juster under 300,000 viewers, which for a developmental series is rather impressive. This game was of course the grudge match between two of the more popular organizations in the European space right now, Los Ratones and Karmine Corp. These two teams are backed by two of the bigger streams in the space, those being Caedrel and Kamet0. It was predicted that if these two teams were to face in the group stage, the numbers would be through the rough, both on social media and the event viewership itself.

According to Esports Charts, the EMEA Masters 2025 Group Stage has been the fifth most watched League of Legends esports event of 2025, which is rather impressive given there are five major regions and an international event. Esports Charts claimed that 200,000 of the viewers for that series directly came from the streams of both Caedrel and Kamet0, highlighting the popularity both of these streamers have in the League of Legends space.

As you can see in the image Esports Charts provided above, only the LEC, LCK Cup, the first international event of the year First Stand, and the NLC Winter - which also featured Los Ratones, garnered more viewership numbers than the match between Los Ratones and Karmine Corp Blue. The fandom both of these organizations bring to the table is on another level compared to the other squads in the West. Both have proven they have been able to pack out arenas with thousands of fans cheering their names.
