The mid laner of the G2 Esports League of Legends team, Rasmus "Caps" Borregaard Winther, has extended his contract with the organization until the end of 2027. The club announced this on the social network X.

This decision strengthens G2's position on the European scene—Caps remains a key figure for the team, which he has been part of since 2020. During this time, G2 has won several LEC titles and reached the Worlds finals with him on the roster.

The club has extended the contract for another two years, confirming that they see the player as a crucial part of the lineup for the long term.
