On February 5, Team Secret and FURIA Esports will meet in the group stage of the Six Invitational 2025. Both teams have already played their first matches at the tournament, and their results are quite different. Current Team Status

Team Secret is now one of the strongest organizations on the professional Valorant scene. The team occupies the 3rd position in the global ranking from Ubisoft among all teams. This is despite the fact that finally 2024 the organization has made multiple changes in the composition. Despite the solifles, and 4 new participants the team is still considered one of the strongest, although at the last tournament it showed not very good results.

FURIA Esports is also playing with a new roster. In the middle of 2024, the organization bought the entire roster of W7m esports. Under the leadership of the new organization, the players also showed themselves not bad. Thanks to the prizes, FURIA now occupies the 12th position in the global ranking from Ubisoft. But it is in the current match, the team looks weaker than its opponents.

Team Secret

Recently, the team took part only in BLAST R6 Major Montreal 2024. As we wrote above, the result at the tournament was very average. With 20 participating teams Team Secret took the 5th-8th place, which is not so bad, but it is not a prize. But this result rather spoke about the lack of chemistry between new and old players, and now most likely there will be no such problem.

Over the last five matches Team Secret won three games against Team Liquid, SCARZ and Elevate. The two losses came against Team Falcons and Team BDS, and while the result against the latter is logical, the loss against Falcons is puzzling.

FURIA Esports

FURIA Esports missed the Blast in Montreal, but participated in the BR Premier Finals 2024 regional tournament. Although the strongest teams in the region were there, FURIA performed well and placed second, losing just one match in the entire tournament against FaZe Clan in the grand finals.

FURIA also won three of their last five meetings against w7m Esports, MIBR, and Elevate Academic Warehouse. The two losses were against Black Dragons and FaZe Clan. In general, such statistics suggest that FURIA despite its position in the overall ranking, may turn out to be a kind of dark horse that unexpectedly defeats more prominent and stronger opponents.

The teams have not played head-to-head since they play in different regions, and the only place where they can meet is in international events.

If we look at the dry statistics and current form, Team Secret is the clear favorite in this match. But again, as we wrote above, FURIA looks like a dark horse, which can suddenly shoot up. Therefore, despite all the statistics in this match we will favor the Brazilian team, although definitely not for an easy win.
