Elias, a former CS:GO player, transitioned to Riot Games' shooter because he received a ban from Valve in 2015 and was prohibited from participating in tournaments. He began his career in Valorant in early February 2021, joining Team Liquid immediately and has been playing for them to this day. During his time with the team, Jamppi has helped the "Horses" solidify their position on the professional scene. His accolades include placements in tournaments like VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík - 4th place, VALORANT Champions 2021 - 3rd-4th place, as well as victories in Red Bull Home Ground #2 and this year's regular VCT 2023: EMEA League season.
In the recent major tournament, Master Tokyo, Jamppi most frequently played Skye and Breach, though in the current world championship, where Team Liquid lost their first match against NAVI, he switched to Neon and Chamber. His all-time favorite characters are Jett, with which he played a total of 90 matches, and Sova with 37 matches.
Recall that at the end of 2022, Valve lifted the ban on many players, including Jamppi, who then announced he would leave Valorant and return to CS:GO and CS 2. Later, the player himself stated in an interview that he would stay in Valorant for a while, and today it became known that the contract with Team Liquid is signed until 2026. This might suggest he's reconsidered returning to Valve's shooter and will fully transition to Valorant.
