The second day of the playoff stage at the Six Invitational 2025 has concluded. As a result, the pairs for the third round of the lower playoff bracket have been determined, along with the eight teams eliminated from the tournament.
The first round of the lower bracket started with matches between Shopify Rebellion — Oxygen Esports and M80 — CAG Osaka. Both encounters ended with a 2:0 scoreline in favor of Oxygen and CAG respectively. Next, matches were played between w7m esports — Team Falcons and FaZe Clan — Team Liquid. The victories were claimed by Falcons and FaZe Clan. The match results were identical — 2:1. This quick elimination of the champions BLAST R6 Major Montreal 2024 came as a real surprise to fans.
Next, the teams played the second round of the lower playoff bracket. G2 Esports unexpectedly lost to Oxygen (0:2), and Unwanted knocked CAG out of the competition (2:1). Also, FaZe Clan defeated Virtus.pro (2:1), and DarkZero lost to Falcons (0:2). The losing teams left the tournament.
In the next round of the lower playoff bracket, Falcons will face FaZe Clan, and Oxygen will compete against Unwanted. Both matches are scheduled for February 11, 10:00 PM CET. Liquid, w7m, Shopify Rebellion, and M80 ranked 13th-16th and earned $55,000 each. DarkZero, VP, G2, and CAG finished in 9th-12th positions and received $75,000 each.
