This morning on his Twitter, Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom, a player for the French Valorant club Karmine Corp, hinted at his return to Counter-Strike following the shooter's full transition to a new version. But in his next tweet, the Belgian stated that he has no intention of quitting Valorant, and his message was simply misinterpreted. I wrote a tweet during frustration from not being able to qualify, and some of my words were out of place and unnecessary, and I apologize to everyone.

I also noticed that my last tweet was wrongly interpreted, and I want to add some explanations. I gave absolutely everything this season, trying to win and lift KCORP to a higher step, even to the detriment of my health.
I don't regret it, but this season and this defeat are really hard for me, as well as for all of you. I take responsibility, as I said.
As for the reference to CS2, it was more irony than anything else, very inappropriate in retrospect, considering the circumstances. I want to continue playing Valorant and do everything possible to win trophies.
This means the end of our season in VCT, and it's time for me to take a little break before thinking about the future.
I don't yet know what Karmine will want to do next season, and so I am waiting to see my options for moving forward.
Thank you all for your support throughout this difficult year both in sports and personally.
The famous CS:GO player, known for his incredible aim and skill in delivering headshots, ScreaM, has always attracted attention, despite not overly outstanding results in tier-1 tournaments.
Before he moved to Valorant in 2020, ScreaM successfully played for various teams such as G2, Envy, GamerLegion, and others. His brother, Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom, was also a professional CS:GO player and was part of the Vitality team as the sixth player, but in 2021 he followed his brother's example and moved into the world of Riot Games shooters, first joining Liquid, then Karmine Corp.
There is still no exact information about the release date of Counter-Strike 2. In early spring, Valve announced that the game will be released in the summer of 2023. However, some community members tend to believe that the full release of CS2 might be postponed to mid or late autumn. The first major for the new version of the game is expected to take place in March 2024.
