Entropiq stun Gambit, Liquid brush off ENCE in Stockholm

With the best of ones still coming in full force in the second Swiss system of PGL Major Stockholm 2021, it was about time to watch four more teams clash for the future seedings in the brackets.

Gambit Esports looked to continue their flawless run in Sweden, as they started with a three round lead on their famous Vertigo. Switching to the offence, however, proved to be disastrous for the favourites, as their CIS counterparts from Entropiq put up a yet another stellar defensive half on the map, winning the game “16-9” and coming one step closer to their first Major playoff appearance with a “2-0” on the day.

Back and forth in the first half, Team Liquid got a narrow lead over ENCE Esports on Dust2, but after the break the tides have turned completely, as the North American organization steamrolled their Finnish opponents for a “16-8” finish and the first win at the tournament in Stockholm.

Halfway through the second round, there will still be four more maps played tonight at the Swedish event.
