Marix will officially replace sdy in Monte's lineup for upcoming tournaments.

The 19-year-old Ukrainian-Luxembourgish esports player, Max "Marix" Kugener, will step in for captain Viktor "sdy" Orudjev while the latter takes a break after an exhausting season.

Throughout his relatively short career, Marix has played for Sprout and OG's academy, still being under contract with the latter. Recently, he has mainly competed in various tier-2 and tier-3 online tournaments.

Temporary replacements beyond sdy

In their social media posts, Monte's organization has teased that there will be more news coming, with another announcement scheduled for tomorrow, June 6th, at 14:00. The organization emphasized that the upcoming news will not involve BOROS. It is likely that DemQQkRaSnaL, or coach LMBT may also take a break, or the coach may receive an assistant.

Woro2k, on the other hand, will remain in the team and will take on the captain's responsibilities for the next two tournaments, as stated by manager KrizzeN in an interview with Maincast.

It's worth noting that Monte's next tournament is scheduled to start in less than three days. The team has been invited to the quarterfinals of the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023 online championship, with a prize pool of $25,000.
