Which Of the Opening Meetings Is Worth Watching?

In group A, the most exciting match will be Vitality vs. Astralis. After returning to the Danish team, Nikolai dev1ce Reedtz didn't play a single game on the tier-1 stage. So this will be a debut that must be noticed.

In the first matches for Astralis, the sniper showed an excellent game. His average rating was 6.7. Will he be able to repeat it on tier-1? We will find out very soon.

In Group B, Liquid vs. OG awaits us, which should be a very close game. At the same time, there is another intrigue about this match: even a week ago, there were rumors that OG plans to change the rifler, and the team may play with a new lineup at BLAST.

And probably the most interesting of the opening matches is NAVI vs. NIP. In his first game for NIP, Daniil headtr1ck Valitov will meet with NAVI and Olexander s1mple Kostyliev. This will be the first test for the young sniper, and it will be interesting to see how he copes with it.

Tournament's format

This year, the BLAST group stage format has changed a lot. Now the winner of each group of the Double-Elimination bracket goes directly to the finals of the season finals. Then, the remaining teams are sent to the Single-Elimination bracket, where the remaining three slots are played.
