With each passing day, the release of Counter-Strike 2 draws nearer, although currently only a limited number of players have access to the shooter. The new installment of the game will feature not only an updated engine, revamped maps, and improved lighting but also future skins that will surpass their predecessors from Global Offensive in terms of quality.
How have the skins changed in CS2?
The graphics improvements in Counter-Strike 2, thanks to the new engine, have made everything brighter and more vivid, utilizing new lighting and rendering methods. The weapon models have also been updated, and the textures now have twice the resolution. This has had a significant impact on the skins and has caused excitement among the dedicated skin community.
So let's take a look at 15 skins from our list, where we have selected the best works from the Steam Workshop, specifically created for CS2.
CZ75-Auto | Rough Draft
Our list opens with a skin featuring one of the most unique designs, reminiscent of a technical blueprint on photosensitive paper. This design will appeal to all the curious players who are interested in learning about the structure of their CZ75-Auto.

Prints with hieroglyphs, especially in combination with the techie style, are not a new thing in the world of fashion. So why limit it to the real world when you can bring it to Counter-Strike?
M4A1-S | ZX Spectron
This M4A1-S could become the second rifle in Counter-Strike from the ZX Spectron collection, following the FAMAS from the Operation Riptide case. We cannot help but draw your attention to the matte plastic texture of this skin, just like the ZX Spectrum, a true home computer from the '80s.
M4A4 | CSGRAFF
The author of this skin collaborated with real graffiti artists to bring a touch of street art to Valve's shooter. It's not about "polished" and tidy forms, but rather about the average graffiti you can find in the streets.

AWP | Streaks offers a different approach to skins with patina patterns, distinct from the Case Hardened. The colors and shades here are more realistic and natural, giving the rifle a vintage look.
AWP | Porcelain
Perhaps one of the most delicate-looking skins in our compilation, inspired by Chinese porcelain. At the same time, the chips and cracks are created using the Japanese kintsugi technique, which involves using lacquer mixed with gold powder.

The same story as with the porcelain AWP. However, due to the golden and blue details, visually there is more of them here - including the magazine of the corresponding color.
When will Counter-Strike 2 receive its first case with skins for the updated weapon models? It's difficult to say for sure, as we don't even have an exact release date for the game. And even if the release happens this summer, as previously announced, there's no guarantee that the first case in the new game version will be released on the same day. Therefore, all we can do is patiently wait.
