The developers have temporarily removed the Outback map from Rainbow Six Siege X due to an exploit that gave players an unfair advantage. The announcement was made on the game's official account on social media platform X.
The exploit allowed players to grapple onto the edge of a rooftop on one building, which was located next to another structure at a lower level. By doing so, players could descend through the wall and directly access the second floor, bypassing normal gameplay mechanics.
It took the development team more than a week to disable the map, but it has now been removed. The duration of its absence is currently unknown, but the developers have promised to bring it back as soon as the issue is fixed, allowing players to once again enjoy matches on Outback.
