Yesterday’s Patch 12.07 brought several important announcements, including bug fixes, interface updates, and a new skin collection. But in addition to the already available updates, it was revealed that Riot Games is launching a collaboration with Discord, allowing players who use this platform to communicate more effectively.
What We Know About the Collaboration
The official patch notes announced the start of the partnership between Valorant and Discord. According to the developers, this will make it easier to invite friends to a game, and you won’t have to switch windows and open Discord every time.

Invite friends from Discord directly to your squad from within VALORANT. No need to switch between windows!
Copy the lobby link and share it directly on your server or wherever your friends are.
To use this feature, you’ll need to verify and link your Riot Games and Discord accounts. Once you do, you’ll be able to invite your Discord friends directly in-game and see if any of them are playing VALORANT right now, even if they’re not on your friend list.
These features will begin testing immediately on the game’s Brazilian server; after April 21, they will roll out in the US and Canada, with a global release on all other servers scheduled for April 29.
