Brazilian breakthrough in Asia
Since December 2023, Elevate has had an academic squad in Brazil, which quickly developed into one of the best teams in the Tier-2 scene. After a year and a half, the organization decided to raise the best representatives of this roster to the top level, while remaining a member of the Asian Rainbow Six scene. This is an unprecedented move, as a team from South America will compete in the APAC region, which is considered a rather unusual practice.
Experience and youth are the key to success
The new team is based on experienced players:
- Gustavo “Psycho” Rigal, the champion of the Six Invitational 2021 as part of Ninjas in Pyjamas;
- Ronaldo “ion” Osawa, a veteran of the scene who previously defended the colors of FaZe Clan and Black Dragons.
The roster is complemented by two young players who previously played for Elevate Academy:
This pair already has a good chemistry, and for them, the transition to the main team is a serious step forward in their careers.

Coaching staff
The coaching staff includes well-known names:
- Vitor “hugzord” Hugo, the former head coach of Team Liquid, will become the coach of the main team;
- Igor “freezao” Silva, who worked with Black Dragons and w7m esports Academy, will become an analyst at Elevate.
Full lineup of Elevate R6:

This project is an important milestone in the history of Elevate, and at the same time a challenge for both the players and the APAC league format. In the near future, we will be able to see whether the Brazilians will succeed in conquering Asia.
