As of Patch 26.4, the Range for Maximum Bonus Damage on Hexoptics C44 is 500 units, meaning any marksman sitting at or above that threshold can fully cash in on the item’s Magnification passive during standard auto attack trades.

How Hexoptics C44 Interacts With Range

Hexoptics C44 grants bonus attack damage scaling with distance, capping at a specific unit breakpoint, so champions that can reliably hit from or beyond that breakpoint benefit more often and with less risk. With Patch 26.4, that Range for Maximum Bonus Damage was reduced from 600 to 500, significantly lowering the bar for “perfect” Hexoptics distance and opening the item up to a wider pool of medium-range ADCs instead of just the longest-range specialists. Since most traditional marksmen sit between 500 and 650 base range, almost every bot laner can now reasonably hit the max damage window in real fights as long as they maintain solid spacing.
