On May 15, as part of the VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 1, a lower bracket playoff match took place between Team Heretics and Eternal Fire. The winner of the series advanced to the lower bracket final and secured a slot at VALORANT Masters London 2026, while the loser was eliminated from the tournament.

Team Heretics defeated Eternal Fire with a score of 2:1. The team lost on Lotus (11:13) but then made a comeback on Fracture after a 3:9 score, closing the map at 13:10, and subsequently won Ascent (13:10).
