Rumor: Riot Games to Add Noise Suppression in VALORANT Voice Chat

Riot Games is working on new communication tools for VALORANT. The developers are preparing a penalty system for inappropriate use of private messages, as well as a feature to suppress background noise in voice chat.

According to insider valohabercisi, the noise suppression is being developed using Krisp AI technology. It is designed to filter out extraneous sounds, including keyboard noise, fans, and background conversations, while preserving the player's voice.

The second feature will extend measures against toxic behavior to private messages. Riot Games already applies restrictions and bans for violations in text and voice chats, but details of the new system have not yet been disclosed. Previously, the company discussed existing penalties for communication abuse.

Currently, VALORANT players can adjust the volume of voice chat and mute individual team members, but there is no built-in tool for filtering background noise in the game. The potential implementation of noise suppression is expected to make communication during matches clearer, especially for users with noisy keyboards or open microphones.
