KRU Esports to Compete in VCT 2026: Americas Kickoff with Temporary Roster

KRÜ Esports officially announced that their debut match in the VCT 2026: Americas Kickoff will take place with a modified lineup. The reason for this is delays in the visa process, which have prevented the main roster from arriving in the country by the first match day.

In the club's statement, it is noted that KRÜ fulfilled all standard requirements and worked with the same visa agency as before. However, this time, for the first time since participating in VCT, the team was asked for additional documentation at the final stage of processing. This led to delays in the internal process, making it impossible for the main KRÜ roster to enter the country in time for the first round, scheduled for January 16.

In this situation, KRÜ Esports had to form a temporary lineup for the opening match. The team will be represented by three players and the coaching staff from the academy roster KRÜ Spark, along with two stand-ins. This is how the team will face FURIA on January 16 at 11:00 PM CET.
