The playoff stage of Masters Bangkok 2025 has just begun, and there are six most exciting matches ahead. Today, the first of them took place, in which EDward Gaming met T1, and we will tell you about the result of the match below.

A tense match

Despite the fact that the strongest teams remained in the playoffs, the first match was a meeting between the favorite and the outsider. The first map Split, chosen by T1, was completely under the control of the Chinese team and ended with their victory with a score of 13-7. On the second Bind map, which was chosen by EDward, T1 began to rehabilitate and evenly matched their opponents without giving up an extra round, and in the second half, they completely dominated and won with a score of 13-6. The decisive map was Pearl, and neither team wanted to lose. The sides exchanged rounds and almost reached overtime. However, the Chinese team eventually pressed their opponents and won with a score of 13-11.

As a result of the match, EDward Gaming advance to the top bracket final, where they will meet the winner of the Team Vitality/G2 Esports pair tomorrow. T1, in turn, fall to the lower bracket, where they will meet the loser of the above pair.

Masters Bangkok 2025 takes place from February 20 to March 2 in LAN format at UOB Live. Eight affiliate teams, two from each region, compete for a prize pool of $500,000, VCT Points needed to qualify for the Championship, and the prestigious championship title.
