Update 12.10, which was released in Valorant on May 26-27, 2026, did not bring any major changes to the game. Riot Games did not add a new agent, map, or mechanic in the patch, but only a new skin bundle and the ability to share replays with friends. But even despite the absence of anything new, patch 12.10 became the most broken in history, and after it, a huge number of new bugs appeared in the game. Therefore, below we will tell you about all the known issues of 12.10 and why this update will go down in Valorant history as the one that broke the game.
Critical bugs
We will start with critical bugs that affect gameplay so strongly that Riot Games had to temporarily remove a certain agent and map so that players would not gain an unfair advantage.
Cypher’s camera
The first and most well-known bug is related to the agent Cypher and his SpyCam skill. This bug first appeared in the game several years ago, and it was later fixed. But with update 12.10, it returned to Valorant again and became one of the biggest problems. Its essence is that when you place Cypher’s camera, you can throw a weapon onto it, and at the moment when you switch to it, it can shoot at enemies.

After this bug was discovered, Riot Games completely removed Cypher from all game modes for several days, and players who abused the issue were banned. However, Cypher has now returned, and the critical bug has so far been fixed.
Transparent box on Breeze
The second critical bug is related to the Breeze map, specifically the box on A main. The issue is that after the release of 12.10, the box somehow became transparent to many abilities. Although its texture looked intact, the skills of some agents passed through it. For example, you could throw Reyna’s Leer into the box, and it would blind enemies through the textures. Or Killjoy’s turret could also shoot at opponents who, in fact, were not visible through the box.

Because of this, Riot also disabled Breeze from all modes for a week and promises to return the fixed map in patch 12.11, which is expected to be released around June 9-10, 2026.

Other bugs
Although only the two bugs described above can be classified as critical bugs that Riot responded to, besides them, almost a dozen other different issues appeared in the game. Even though they do not provide an unfair advantage, they are still quite unpleasant.
Doors on Lotus
An unpleasant bug is related to the rotating doors on the Lotus map. One player reported that the activation button simply disappeared for him, which prevented him from opening these doors and moving around the map normally.

Getting stuck in textures
Another issue noticed by players is a bug with the agent Neon after using the High Gear ability. In the video, you can see how the player used dash during the ability and, because of this, got stuck in their teammate. However, the bug is not critical, because the players were eventually able to move away from each other.

Bugs with Vyse
The next two bugs are related to one agent, Vyse. First of all, with the help of her Arc Rose ability, you can see enemies through smokes. When you place the flower, you can see an opponent through its texture, even if they are behind smokes.

The second bug is related to the Razorvine skill. When you throw it on the ground and activate it, it mutes all movement sounds. This way, you can jump into the thorns from a height, and enemies will not hear this sound. A similar bug existed with the agent Sage several updates ago.

If you land on spikes while jumping from a height, there is no sound of falling.@RiotRiviere https://t.co/8BdzPZcIgj pic.twitter.com/EwAJkT6aNs
It also became known that this bug works with the agents Killjoy and Waylay as well. When using their skills, the sounds of your fall will also be muffled.

Additional smokes
Another issue appeared with the agents Clove and Miks. As you can see in the video, at the beginning of the round, Miks has only one charge of the Waveform smoke. But after 40 seconds, when one charge was supposed to recharge, he somehow received two charges of the ability. Players found an identical bug on the agent Clove as well. It works when, during the buy phase, you buy a second smoke charge, then quickly sell it, and after the cooldown you still have 2 charges.

Transparent walls on Split
The next bug works on the Split map with agents such as Harbor and Phoenix. When you are in the garage passage on B and use these agents’ walls, they simply become transparent, and you can see what is behind them.

Cursor getting stuck
This issue is present with agents such as Miks, Brimstone, and Tejo, whose skills open the minimap when used. If, during this, you press Esc and open the settings, your cursor simply gets stuck in the center, and you cannot do anything.

Menu disappearing
Another settings-related bug is not constant, and some players may not encounter it. During a match, when you open the settings menu, all the upper sections and tabs disappear, and you cannot change any settings or binds.

Texture abuse
An old issue that appears in Valorant from time to time has returned in patch 12.10. By using two characters in a corner, you can climb upward along the textures, allowing you to take unexpected positions.

Waylay dash on consoles
This bug works only in the console version of Valorant. When playing as Waylay, if you use the Lightspeed ability and take a Flex item into your hand during the flight, your agent flies a much greater distance than they should.

Infinite Yoru clone
Another issue was discovered with the agent Yoru and his Fakeout ability. When used, this clone is supposed to walk for 10 seconds. However, if you use it not on a flat surface but on stairs or a slope, the clone will run endlessly until it is destroyed.

Transparent box on Split
This bug may become critical, as was the case with the Breeze map. The wooden box on Split at the B site is also partially transparent. As you can see in the video, Killjoy’s turret can shoot at an enemy who was not visible behind the textures. However, for now, Riot Games has not reported any removal of Split from the map pool.

Unclear bug exploit that may be critical
Finally, we want to tell you about a very unclear situation that one player encountered. On his X account, a user with the nickname Haydnbl stated that in one match he played against a dishonest opponent who was using an exploit that forced Valorant to lag at the right moments.
Ouais @RiotSupportFR @VALORANTfr je viens report le plus grand bug abuse que j'ai pu rencontrer

Preuve à l'appui avec les vidéos (c'est arrivé sur 20round) pic.twitter.com/Ik208JTEsb
In the video, you can see that the game starts glitching exactly at the moments when it was beneficial for the enemy team, such as during the Spike defuse and other moments. The author of the video reported that this exploit may have been used by a Gekko player, since almost all of his previous matches lasted a very long time, which resembles the use of a bug. However, the situation remains unclear for now, so it is unknown whether this is truly an artificial exploit.
It should be noted that only a few days have passed since the release of 12.10, and the Valorant community has already found more than 15 different bugs and issues, and most likely there are still several unknown ones. Because of this, it can be stated that patch 12.10 is the most broken in the entire history of Valorant, since there has never been such a number of bugs before.
