xertioN sat down at PGL Astana after MOUZ beat G2 to advance, and the conversation quickly moved beyond the result. Two weeks into his first full IGL role, the rifler was candid about everything from emotion management to what jL brings to the table.
The Role Change
xertioN has been calling the CT side for a while, but running both halves is a different challenge entirely. Two weeks in, he's already logging 11-hour workdays alongside coach sycrone to build the system.
For me personally, I think I'm understanding the game at an even higher level. We were talking a lot after practices, it was super tough but we managed.xertioN
He was worried about becoming a burden on the team. So far, two games in, that fear hasn't materialized.
Emotion Is the Work in Progress
The honest part of the interview came when xertioN talked about stress management. He's always been on the emotional side, and the IGL seat amplifies every dropped round.
Today, even if we're winning 11-1 and we lost this stupid anti-eco on B, I was a bit upset. I need to learn how to manage my emotions better.xertioN
He's working with a sports psychologist and taking active steps toward a healthier lifestyle to give the role the energy it demands.

Vitality Is Not the Target Yet
Asked whether this change is what finally gets MOUZ over the hump against Vitality, xertioN was grounded.
We are 100% still far away from Vitality. It's not even in our mindset to beat these guys in a consistent manner because they are just the best.xertioN
The goal right now is building direction, climbing the VRS, and taking it one step at a time. The ceiling is higher. Whether they reach it is still to be decided.
