Shared by Brazilian insider Big Bad Bear, the rumors outline a versatile skill kit that positions Mel as either a battle mage or a support champion, drawing gameplay parallels to Lux or Morgana. Riot Games has not yet officially confirmed her arrival.

Leaked Skill Details

• Passive: Borrowed from Teamfight Tactics, Mel's passive fires three damaging projectiles after each skill or auto attack. These projectiles attach to enemies, and if enough accumulate, they trigger an execution mechanic.
• (Q): An AoE spell that slows enemies and roots those in the center, reminiscent of the old Everfrost item.
• (W): A shield that deflects projectiles, inspired by Mel's abilities in Arcane. It might also allow her to "steal" and reuse blocked enemy spells, though this feature remains speculative.
• (E): Comparable to Morgana's W, this AoE spell delivers six damage instances and likely synergizes with her passive to stack charges effectively.
• (R): Mel’s ultimate amplifies her passive damage and triggers an instant detonation of all applied charges, with the potential for additional automatic detonations.  

Expected Release

While Riot has not officially announced Mel, speculation points to a release during the first split of 2025, possibly with the year's initial patch around January 7.
