Imperial ends Team Vitality's 14-map winning streak

In the first match of the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023, the Brazilian team Imperial sensationally defeated the current major champions, Team Vitality, thereby ending their winning streak!

How the game unfolded Imperial, led by the legendary sniper Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, defeated Team Vitality with a score of 2-0.

The first map of the clash was Imperial's pick, Overpass, on which they convincingly rolled over their opponents with a score of 16-3.

Next up was Vertigo, which was Team Vitality's pick. Imperial narrowly won that map with a score of 16-14. You can find detailed match statistics here.

Another interesting fact was that Imperial's sniper, FalleN, outperformed Vitality's sniper, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, in terms of duels won. The Brazilian took down the Frenchman 8 times, while ZywOo managed only 6!

This is noteworthy considering that the 32-year-old sniper will soon be able to join Furia Esports and is currently in negotiations with the team.
