Rockstar Games announced a major PC update to Grand Theft Auto V that will go live on March 4th of 2025. The update will add the following improvements that were previously exclusive to the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S:

Improved graphics: Enhanced ray tracing is added to deliver realistic light and reflection.

New features: New vehicles and missions that were previously console next-gen exclusives are being included.

GTA+ subscription: Subscribing to GTA+ will allow you to earn additional rewards within GTA Online.

The updated version of Grand Theft Auto Online will also feature Hao's Special Works auto bodyshop at LS Car Meet. Here the player can improve certain vehicles with the best mods. Five exclusive vehicles that were previously playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will also be playable by PC players.

This update will introduce higher levels of personalization of vehicles to enhance the overall quality of gameplay of GTA Online on the updated version.

The update will also introduce support for AMD FSR 3 and NVIDIA DLSS 3 technologies to improve performance, along with support for the Sony DualSense controller and the Dolby Atmos technology to improve the quality of the audio.

All current owners of the game will also have the chance to update their game to the current version at no charge while preserving their story mode and GTA Online gameplay.

Please note that to access the new GTA Online features, the game will need to be updated to the latest version.
