Why is this roster called a "super team"?
In the off-season, Boda, Giyuu, and DeKap attracted attention from many teams in the LFL and TCL. They are considered some of the best players in the MENA region, and many expected them to continue their careers beyond it. However, these talented players decided to stay on their home stage to once again draw attention to the Arabian League.
Particularly notable is the 18-year-old Boda, who impressed fans at the EMEA Masters Spring, performing for Nigma Galaxy and achieving the top-8 — a result that became historical for the MENA region. Giyuu and DeKap, in turn, helped Geekay Esports secure a top-4 finish at the same tournament. Now, by joining forces with Boda, the team is setting even more ambitious goals.
An active off-season for DeKap
It is worth noting that DeKap also attracted interest from LEC teams such as GIANTX, SK Gaming, and Rogue, as well as from French organizations Karmine Corp Blue and Gentle Mates. Despite the attention from international teams, he decided to stay with Geekay Esports.

Updated Geekay Esports roster
The new team roster for 2025 is not much different from the previous one since two key players, Giyuu and DeKap, have signed new contracts. The toplaner will be Boda, replacing Cho "Bong" Bo-woon, and the AD Carry role is likely to be filled by a Korean player, as in the past season. Additionally, there is a likelihood that jungler Taha "Elramir" Yurdaguven will also sign a new contract with the team.
The presumed Geekay Esports lineup for 2025:
- Toplane: Mohamed "Boda" Yahya
- Jungle: ?
- Midlane: Ahmad "Giyuu" Charif
- AD Carry: Korean talent
- Support: Walid "DeKap" Mohamed Ismail
Geekay Esports is clearly aiming for high results and strives to turn the Arabian League into one of the leading events on the global esports scene.
