G2 will face Monte, and Spirit will play MIBR in the second round of IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2

The first round of Stage 2 has ended, and the teams have already learned their opponents for the second round of the Swiss system of IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 2. After the opening matches, the participants were divided into the 1-0 and 0-1 groups, where they will continue the fight for advancement to the tournament playoffs.

Among the most interesting confrontations of the second round, the match between G2 and Monte is worth noting, where two winners of the first round will meet. Also attracting attention are the FUTTYLOO and Astralis — 9z matches, which will determine several more contenders for a 2-0 record. An interesting match among the teams without victories is B8 against M80, as the teams from Stage 1 will try to get their first victory at Stage 2 and avoid falling to the 0-2 group.
