Entropiq knock G2 out from ESL Pro League; playoff participants from Group A decided

The fourth day of ESL Pro League Season 15 has come to a close, and the winner of the third match has been decided.

G2 faced Entropiq. Previously, G2 won a single match out of 3, while Entropiq lost only one standoff. Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen returned to the European mix.

Entropiq picked Vertigo. The first half looked equal as Entropiq won eight rounds on the T side. After the sides switched, G2 transferred the game into overtime. The first series didn’t decide the winner, and the map ended in the second series with a score of 22-20 in favor of G2.

G2 decided to play Dust 2. The situation on the second map was as close as on Vertigo. The game was transferred into overtime. However, Entropiq managed to finish the map in the first series of overtime 19-17.

The match continued on the decider, which was Nuke. G2 dominated on the CT side, winning nine rounds throughout the half. Although, the CIS team made a comeback after the sides switched and won the decider 16-13.

This match decided the playoff participants of Group A. NIP take first place in the group, advancing to the quarterfinals, while Entropiq and fnatic enter the first round of the playoff.
