The Turkish player Taha "Elramir" Yurdaguven, considered one of the top junglers in EMEA Tier 2, has decided to continue his career with Geekay Esports. Despite interest from other strong teams such as Vitality.Bee, BDS Academy, GameWard, and Besiktas Esports, Elramir chose Geekay, with whom he had a successful 2024 season.

In 2024, Geekay Esports became a symbol of growth in the Arabian League in EMEA. The team achieved significant success, reaching the semifinals of the Spring EMEA Masters, where they made an impressive reverse sweep in the quarterfinals against the reigning champions Karmine Corp Blue. Despite a loss to Eintracht Spandau in the semifinals, Geekay established itself as one of the strongest teams in the region.

In the Summer Split, Geekay won the Arabian League title and again competed at the EMEA Masters, ranking high in the Power Rankings and finishing the Swiss Stage with a 4-0 record. However, in the first round of the playoffs, the team fell to Papara SuperMassive after a tense five-game series.
New Lineup for 2025
After the conclusion of the 2024 season, Geekay Esports is strengthening its team by signing top laner Mohamed "Boda" Yahya, formerly of Nigma Galaxy. Alongside Elramir, the team will also retain mid laner Ahmad "Giyuu" Sharif and support Walid "DeKap" Ismail. This revamped lineup might become one of the most promising in the Arabian League and elevate Geekay to a new level.
