Counter-Strike 2 topped the ranking of the most-watched esports disciplines in the second quarter of 2026. Official tournaments for Valve's shooter amassed a total of 209 million hours watched, according to a report by the analytics company Stream Hatchet.
League of Legends secured second place with 166 million hours. The leaders among the tournaments for this discipline were the first two rounds of the LCK, with a peak audience reaching 2.2 million viewers.
One of the main sources of views for CS2 was IEM Cologne. At its peak, 2.7 million people were simultaneously following the competition. Thanks to the significant tournament metrics, Counter-Strike managed to surpass League of Legends, which previously held the top spot in the rankings.
Rounding out the top three was Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Tournaments for the mobile MOBA accumulated 119 million hours watched. Meanwhile, MPL Indonesia Season 17 set the highest peak online viewership among the top three disciplines, with 2.9 million viewers watching the broadcast simultaneously.
In the upper part of Stream Hatchet's rankings, MOBAs and competitive shooters dominated. The only discipline from a different genre among the leaders was Rocket League. The list was compiled based on the metrics of official esports tournaments, not all broadcasts of the respective games.
