Valve has released a new minor update for Counter-Strike 2, which addresses content related to the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, as well as the inventory interface and several technical improvements.
The update doesn't bring major gameplay changes but enhances the usability of the shop, storage, and item acquisition system.
Cologne 2026 Major Shop: New Pricing Data and Sticker Showcase
In the section dedicated to the Cologne 2026 Major, new features have been added for tracking the sticker market. The shop now displays the lowest and highest sticker prices over the last 7 days, allowing for better assessment of their trends.
Additionally, in the main menu, a separate sticker showcase has appeared on the Major Hub access tile, improving their viewing and presentation.
Inventory and Item System Improvements
Valve has also updated the inventory interface and item storage system.
Players can now:
- Select multiple items simultaneously in Storage Units
- Receive a clear error message if the inventory is full
- Correctly see messages when attempting to receive a Weekly Care Package, Armory items, or items from the Major Shop
These changes significantly simplify inventory management, especially for active players and traders.

Technical Fixes and Localization
The update also fixes number formatting rules in some languages, improving the interface display in different regions.
While the changes seem minor, they aim to stabilize the UI and enhance the overall user experience in CS2, especially during the active period of the Cologne 2026 Major.
