FURIA Tatu fined and suspended for one CBLOL playoff series following incident with Stepz

FURIA jungler Pedro "Tatu" Seixas has been sanctioned by Riot Games following an incident during the 2026 CBLOL playoffs. The player will miss one series and has also been fined $3,000.

The incident took place on September 6 after FURIA won the second game of their playoff series against RED Canids in the opening round. Immediately after the victory, Tatu approached RED Canids jungler Stepz on stage, leading to a confrontation between the two players. Tatu appeared to confront Stepz directly and expressed his frustration with the opposing jungler.

The tension between the players had started before the match itself. Tatu had previously seen Stepz call him a "dog" during a Solo Queue game, which sparked a conflict between the two players. The situation eventually escalated into a confrontation on the CBLOL stage following FURIA’s victory.

Riot Games determined that Tatu’s behavior violated the competition regulations and the Riot Games Global Esports Code of Conduct. According to the official CBLOL statement, his conduct did not meet the standards expected from a professional player and constituted a repeated violation of the rules.

As a result, Tatu has been suspended for one CBLOL series and will miss FURIA’s entire upcoming match against LOS in the Upper Bracket Semifinal, scheduled for September 12. In addition to the suspension, Tatu has received an administrative fine of $3,000.

Due to the suspension, Riot Games have allowed FURIA to register an emergency substitute specifically for the series against LOS. The organization must inform the league and register its chosen replacement by September 10 at 1:00 PM Brasília time.
