John Wick Hex to be delisted from Steam on July 17

Bithell Games has announced that the tactical action game John Wick Hex will be removed from sale on Steam and other digital stores on July 17, 2025. The reason is the expiration of the license to use the John Wick brand. After that date, it will no longer be possible to purchase the game, but those who already own it will retain access in their library.

John Wick Hex is a 2019 video game that delivered a unique playing experience with a combination of action in real-time along with turn-based strategy. It entails players planning John Wick’s movements on a grid-based map with shot-time considerations along with cover, as well as movement. It has an original storyline leading up to before the first movie as well.

Currently, John Wick Hex is available through Steam, PlayStation Store, Nintendo store, and Xbox Games Store at a price of $19.99.

The removal is specifically due to the end of the agreement between the publisher and the rights holder, Lionsgate. Similar situations have occurred with other games based on movies and licensed franchises.

Importantly, everyone who purchases John Wick Hex before July 17 will be able to continue playing, reinstall the game, and use all its features as before.

The official delisting from Steam and other stores will take place on July 17, 2025 — don’t miss the chance to add it to your collection.
