Square Enix closed the main presentation with Final Fantasy 7 Revelation to serve as the final entry in the ongoing remake project. The debut trailer showed the final confrontation between Cloud Strife and Sephiroth to firmly confirm the absolute conclusion of the overall remake storyline. The developer launches the new game across all major platforms simultaneously in spring 2027 to wrap up the entire series. Square Enix positions this upcoming release as the definitive ending of the trilogy by focusing heavily on the final conflict between the main characters.

Resident Evil Veronica Returns As A Full Remake

Capcom revealed Resident Evil Veronica to serve as a completely reimagined version of the classic Code Veronica survival horror experience. The new trailer focused entirely on Claire Redfield and confirmed a solid 2027 release window for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles alongside PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Capcom fully rebuilt the entire experience with updated visuals and modern gameplay systems while keeping the original story structure intact as the main narrative foundation.

Monster Hunter Wilds Expands With Ascendance

Capcom announced Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance as a major content expansion planned for release in 2027. The massive expansion adds Master Rank content alongside new abilities and a fresh region set completely high above the ground. Players face new large monsters including powerful Elder Dragons while they explore complex vertical environments. This huge expansion continues the focus Capcom places on long term support for the franchise through new endgame systems and deep progression layers.

Stellar Blade Continues With Blood Rain

Shift Up revealed Stellar Blade Blood Rain as a brand new chapter set deeply within the established universe. The upcoming game continues the main story after the events of the first title and introduces a fresh protagonist named Evie. The debut trailer focused heavily on a much darker tone and an expanded world direction for the franchise even though the developers keep further details limited right now.
