Weather Events are something that brings a lot of excitement in Grow a Garden, where players can receive rare items, temporary boosts and of course, rare Mutations. The mechanism transfers over to Grow a Garden 2 with slight tweaks but no less excitement.
The introduction of Day Cycle takes players into a continuous Weather cycle of Morning Weather, Sunset Weather and Night Weather. These three Weathers are permanent where players can keep track of the weather and time by looking at the time bar at the top of the page.
Morning Weather
This is the default weather and the sky is the normal blue sky. The Morning Weather will last for 7 minutes and 30 seconds. This is the time where players do their usual garden tending and item shopping.
Sunset Weather
This is a period between the Morning Weather and the Night Weather where the sky will have a slight yellow tint and the day grows shadowy. It will last for only 30 seconds and serve as a reminder that the night time is coming soon. Players are advised to prepare for the night depending on whether they are planning to rob other gardens or just stay locked in their gardens.

Night Weather
During the Night Weather, the sky will turn dark and visibility reduces. Players can choose to steal other player’s crops, defend their own gardens or both. This Night Weather lasts for 2 minutes before the Morning Weather comes again.
The Night Weather has a chance to spawn four different Moon types: the Normal Moon (69%), the Gold Moon (13%), the Rainbow Moon (6%) and the Blood Moon (2%).
Other Weathers
The other Weathers in the game can happen during any phase in the Day Cycle except for the Moon Weather which only happens at night. As Grow a Garden 2 is still in the early phase, we are seeing limited Weather Events but players can expect more to come in the near future.
